Transcription of Books

Sally Hursh has very kindly transcribed the contents of the two books. They seem to contain the same names and dates, with a few exceptions. Dates entered after 1937 were probably entered by Ina's husband, Joseph E. Hursh.

This list is an asset to researchers because it contains information about the people living in the Illini Township community and surrounding area. Included are names and dates of ancestors back in N.H., for example, who never came to live in Illinois. Also, included are early 1800 births, death dates, as well as marriage dates of couples.
