I believe they were both Southerners who had unionist loyalties and fled to the North prior to the war. After her death, he married her sister, Sarah Jane, and they moved to Arkansas. The only thing I want is to know is what the obituary says or if possible a scanned copy from whose family might have an old scrapbook etc.of family events & information. It would help greatly on the many years of family research I have done. I am always happy to share my family research with anyone. Thank you for your time.

    McCLAVE
I bought two old photos and am hoping to reunite them with family members. The first is a photo of "Little Myrtle Berdine Hagen" , an infant of 5 months, which was sent to: Rilla J. McClave who lived at 235 E. Candit St., Decatur, ILL. The other is of "Mildred Nadine McClave", age 2 yrs. 9 months.....perhaps Rilla's daughter?? Mildred is a lovely child with a ruffly dress, 3 button shoes, little black stockings, a big bow in her hair, and she's holding a tiny little purse. There are no dates on the photos, but they are typical of the style we see in the late 1800's.
