Joseph Long came from Pennsylvania to Ohio and then to Macon County with his wife Catherine Zimmerman Long. George Long is their son. Drucilla is their daughter who married Samuel Corn. Elizabeth and Elda Corn are the children of Drucilla and Samuel. Jerome Williams is apparently a child of their daughter Lavinia who married Jackson Williams. It appears John Long was a relative of Joseph. He is not mentioned in any source as a son nor was a readable intact stone found.

The cemetery is located near the Friends Creek Conservation Area.
