The following photos of Thelma Holland with her students and other faculty members in the Decatur schools were graciously provided by a niece of Thelma's. She wrote: "Aunt Thelma was an elementary school teacher in Decatur from the mid-1950's to the mid-1970's. We have no other information about her classes. Perhaps some of her students can be found." Photos were forwarded for use on the website by Sally Hursh and are used with permission.

NOTE: From Yolanda Blackman - "I believe the adult woman to the left side of Thelma Holland may have been the principal of the school, last name Sliger(?). I am seated on the second row, the little girl with very curly hair. Most of the children in the picture attended Decatur Day Care Center or they lived within six or seven blocks of Gastman."
